If you got the whooping cough shot while you were pregnant it'll get passed to your baby. We have to get it in Iowa.

Yeah that definitely helps. Guess if you were at the park vs. Disneyland it would make a difference too.

@sharlotte, @meganc true true.. thanks :) i need to get out of the house too. &@danamarie yeah it does..but i make sure they wash there hands before touching baby...or i wont let anyone sick near him

Girl I've taken my son out since he was three days old, he's now 12 days old and he's perfect!!

Aren't you worried about the recent unvaccinated kids who have gotten babies sick in California, etc? It scares the crap out of me since babies can't get vaccinated against those and can get measles, whooping cough, etc.

Well you said it's a nice day outside he should be fine girly :) taking them out Into the world early just helps to strengthen their immune systems and leads to a healthier kid :) my boy is 2 and he's never had a cold or anything cuz i take him out so much and let his body build the immunities :)

Iv had my son out in the world since the day after we got to go home from the hospital. He was perfectly fine. Just keep him shaded and he will be fine :)
