sitting in ANC waiting for bloody consultant who is running over an hour late.... bored stupid..... urrgghhhhhh stupid appointment is only because I'm old and already have 4 babies. I'm perfectly healthy - pointless appointment just to appease a consultant in going to disagree with anyway. I have my gloves on ready for a fight for my homebirthing rights lol 😁 😁 😁

not happy. They want me to do a gtt and not only are they refusing me my homebirth. consultant wants me to deliver in the high tech area of labour ward (no birthing pools or areas to wander in labour) and they want me crossmatched and cannulated from admission. Seriously hacked off....gonna have to fight hard for this 😭😭😭

just been to see midwife to book GTT and it turns out they had my dates wrong. consultant had me at 13 weeks today ffs. losing faith in this team as the minutes go by!!!

I know how you feel.. I had a fight on to have a home birth too .. I got a hen on my side and then as soon as I went in to labour they said it was not safe for me i would have to go in to hospital .. and when I got to hospital there was nothing rong! at all ..

How frustrating for you. I'm so sorry you didn't get the birth you deserve. I'm so angry. I have fully educated myself and I put forward a really eloquent evidence-based argument for my home birth and he simply cut me down.... and spoke at me (not to me) in such a condescending manner!! I'm a registered nurse and have had four previous deliveries with no complications. I know my own body. grrrr. I'm sure my bloodpressure has raised *rant rant* lol
