Do you plan on anymore children in the future? If not I totally love the depo just don't recommend it to any women who want to get pregnant in the future
Depo takes away periods and I've never gain weight on it I've heard some women have gain some weight from it but since I was on it I never cramps or had periods but now that I'm TTC it's been very hard for me also if u do decide depo take tums everyday for extra calcium look into every side effect that best fits you!
I am on the depo and I was on it for 5 years straight and got off and 2 months later got pregnant with my son. and now I'm back on it and hopefully be off it again in July so we can ttc. it all depends on your body.

maybe not for a couple of years, I was on depo before and I just hated the weight gain
