I feel like that's something the doctor should have talked, and gone over with you prior to surgery. Your best bet is to talk to your doctor and go over exactly what the surgery had entailed, and any issues you should be aware of.

I had surgery on my ovary in April of 2014 about a year about and I'm 35 weeks along now I never had a period after my surgery either

Has your gynecologist advised against your trying to or actually getting pregnant? If not, I don't think you have anything to worry about. What kind of surgery did you have on your ovary(ies)?
