Hi mommies to be: how many of you have gotten started on buying things for your babies? I'm 5 months…

I'm almost 5 months as well and I haven't bought anything either. I have made a list as well and I'm going to start getting some of the small stuff now i.e. wipes diapers clothes

Yeah starting with the small stuff sounds like the best way to go. After all is like the everyday stuff they'll use @babydavis915

Yeah that's my plan and fiance agreed since I may have the baby early. I'm having two baby showers so I never know what I may get. I don't mind second hand things and I know a lit of my coworkers just had babies.@natsmommy,

what i did was throw my baby shower a little early so i knew what i had & didnt have. that way i can get it before the baby got here.

Well lucky you. You'll get ton of stuff. Second hand things are the best, cuz babies outgrow everything and it's so good for your wallet @babydavis915 Good luck with your delivery

I'm 7 months and the only thing we bought is clothes and purchasing a crib this week. the crib is the only thing that's not on our registry list. After the baby shower we plan to get what others didn't that she absolutely needs...cus you never know! someone is bound to get you the big necessities.

@heavensmommy, that's a great idea. And probably less rushed. I can't help but feel like when my baby gets here I'll be short on one thing or the other for not thinking ahead

@allierodriguez, yeah maybe I'll just get what I really like for example the crib and stroller cuz I want them to match and then wait until after the baby shower @allierodriguez

I'm 5 months too, me and my husband haven't bought a thing neither but my sister was advising to start off small with pampers and wipes instead if clothes and stuff.

@babydavis915, yeah actually we found out two days ago I'm having a boy. I'm super excited cuz I just have sisters and girl cousins. What about you?

@natsmommy, yes because im like i dont want to get my hopes & depend on my shower then have to rush & buy necessities.

thwn i lucked out because after my shower i just had to buy a diaper bag & few more bottles.

@natsmommy, We kind of sort found out but since my fiance didn't want to know he cover my eyes and had them put it in an envelope...so it's somewhere in our room tucked away until our reception June 27th 😞

I haven't bought anything yet either I'm having my shower 3 months before baby arrives then gonna get what I need after the shower. Plus u may get gift cards to buy what u didn't get and I'm sure u will be returning something's.

I haven't bought anything either. I am also five months . I will wait til the middle of June - ish. Or maybe even beginning July? . Especially with a dog I'd have to go in and clean things and Tidey them up and it's not even occupied! Lol. I can do that for a little bit but not almost 5 or 4 more months! Lol

I started buying when I was 19 weeks lol....im having a surprise baby shower lol but I didn't want to rely on that either....especially for the big stuff
