Any FT single moms with the experience of taking care of a newborn primarily on your own? As my DD approaches I'm getting a little anxious. I see moms (with their SO there with them) struggling, so im just wondering what single moms have experienced with taking care of a newborn. I know it gets easier eventually

It's just a learning experience, just take it day by day, or hour by hour if you need to. And if you can get your baby on a schedule!!! I got my daughter on a schedule of her needing fed every 2 hrs and it's made a world of difference. If she wanted fed before the 2 hr mark I'd just give her enough to hold her over til it had been two hrs, then I gave her a full bottle. And don't be afraid to ask family and friends for help, even if it's just to watch the baby for an hr so you can take a power nap and shower! That's what family is for!
