TMI... But is it normal to feel pin prick pain in your cervix? When I lay down I feel this sensation, it's not horribly pain for maybe a 2 out of 10 but concerning.

@kelsyys, yes I'm serious the pinching feeling in there is your cervix softening and dilating !!!

Or call your hospital where your delivering at and speak to a nurse in the ob department
Yes what she said ! Because I thought it was nothing and come to find out I was already half a cm dilated and had to stay in the hospital to stop the labor .. They sent me home with pills too
@twinmommy_15, hopefully your not dilating tho, make sure you let your doctor know.
Doesn't mean anything lol !!! I was around that when mine started happening I would be careful though because I went into pre term labor
@myahcarmella, Are you serious?! I'll be 38weeks in a few days and I just thought it was the baby hitting it.
So I had my ultra sound and my cervix is shortening but not dilated. In L&D bc I was told to go if I was having contractions or Braxton hicks less than 10 mins apart. Babies are good and contractions are finally slowing down after almost 6 hours of being in the L&D.
