Started labor at 3 am let him sleep. Then he went to work. Came home late slept. Woke up went to work came back got dinner hung out for a while took a nap. Woke up went back to sleep. Slept all night while I didn't. Woke up in the morning and hung out then I pushed for 2.5 hours an he was there the whole time until he left, which I didn't know till after, to tell our parents in the waiting room his head was crowing.

Well I was in labor for 4 days active labor for 36 hours. And nothing much he could do so I told him to go. I had my dog and that's who I really wanted.

If it makes you feel better during my early labor my husband slept then went to work, then slept through my active labor as well he was pretty much just there for the pushing.
