My fiancé wants me to breastfeed, I'm deff not against it but ii just don't think ii want to do it.…

I wasn't so sure if I should either but my fiancé really wants me to cause breastfeeding is actually best for the baby. & also I heard that it prevents breast cancer too. It makes the baby healthier but formula is just as good too. But I'm gonna end up doing both for my baby.

I know for sure its best for the baby, what ii think is that it's a huge commitment and job to do and I'm not sure if it will work out for me. But then ii feel selfish 😔. You plan to do both? Like what's your plan? @brittanyy_plus1

@melia91, do you work? Is that why it's not a for sure thing? My plan is to be a stay at home mom, 'cause my fiancé doesn't want me to work my butt off. I'm gonna be setting up my own little business soon once my baby gets here. & the plan is, whenever my fiancé is working, I'll be doing the breastfeeding, & once he comes home, formula just in case if I get tired. & if he wants to feed our son when he cries in the middle of the night, I'll either pump, or have bottles ready so I can rest. But if he wants me to get him cause he has to work early in the morning then I'll just give my baby the tit.

yes bf is best but ultimately it's your decision. of you try it out and its great, great! if it's not for you, that's great too. do what works for you.

Yes I do plan to go back to work, not right away but for sure going back. That's a great plan! I guess it's no harm in trying it out and see where it takes us :) @brittanyy_plus1

what about pumping that's what I'm going to do.

you could always try it and see if you like it or not just to show him you tried. if you don't like it then you can always bottle feed

don't let it make you feel pressured mama. I did it for a little over 2 months but I'm having to stop and do formula cause my supply is like nothing now.
