I agree I I give my son a bath every night its cuz some people dont bath themselves everyday so there not gonna to it to there children. I do tho

you can dry their skin out

Their skin is a lot more sensitive than ours so it dries out faster you can wipe them down with a wet cloth in between bathes to keep them clean

Babies skin is very sensitive and it can dry there skin out

but thats for newborns .. my baby is 6 months i give her baths every other day and sponge baths in between that but its cuz her skin gets really dry and flaky if i bathe her everyday

I give my son a bath everyday. His skin isn't dried out, I put lotion on him everytime I give him a bath.

it dried out their skin and on top of that they don't get dirty enough to do it like we do. I do a bath every other night and sponge bath the nights she doesn't bathe. I was giving her bath every single night but she got eczema and dry skin so her doctor said every other night

@caydensmommy, I put lotion on my daughter everyday she got out bath and even in the morning whithout a bath and it still bothered her skin. so I would say lotion technically doesn't matter. some babies skin is more sensitive and that I give her a bath every other night, her skin is much better

@caydensmommy, my daughters doctor recommended that too and it didn't help. Aveeno is the only wash and lotion she can use.

babies don't have the same type of skin we do theirs is more sensitive. I give my son a bath every 2-3 days and he gets wipe Downs between baths if needed. but babies don't need a bath everyday and if u do choose to do it every day once is enough not twice

I bathe my baby just like that too!!! In the morning and again before bed, Im sorry but when im tired there is nothing that relaxes me more than a bath so why not give my babies a bath so they can relax too? They get dirty, sticky, and I tried wiping him down but I feel like hes still sticky!!!! His skin is fine so far though, I put a lot of lotion on him and so far so good. He hasnt had any problems and he LOVES bathtime plus it doesnt even take that long!
