For the breastfeeding moms: did you supplement formula until your milk came in or did you strictly breastfeed?

Im doing formula & pumping milk for my baby..its hard work to pump & express 😥

and he cant latch on my boobs at all.. :/

My first one didn't latch well either! I had cracked and bloody Nipples, sorry if tmi. I want this time around to work!

@lajo, its fine girl! im still figuring it out its been a week now.. it gets tiring because my boobs get so swollen and hurt :( so i have to use my pump..and my nipples hurt like hell! & right? i wanted to breastfeed gunner but my nipples are flat so he gets frustrated & just cant...he hates nipple shield too :/

I was blessed and breastfed immediately with no problems and I'm exclusively breastfeeding 8 weeks later. My advice is to stay near your baby when he's born don't give him to other ppl so you can rest it will help your milk come in. Lots of skin to skin and determination. Good luck!!
