Yeah that's what happens most of the time. People don't really come to baby showers. Don't let it get you down though.

My best friend suppose to be like my sister didn't show up to my baby shower told me 10 mins before my shower started she can't make it. now I know she not a true friend since she knew how much it meant to me I'm sorry some your friends didn't show

@Kay80, I've never really thought they were great friends but it would've upset my boyfriend if I didn't have one for his friends. I'm sure if he wasn't in prison it would've been a different story & they would have came to the shower. But now I'm the one who is upset, embarrassed and hurt. I feel like I wasted so much time & money on this ):

@kate_magalina, thats what I ment. That if they were great friends as ur boyfriends thinks they should have still come because of him even if he was in jail. And they should definitly inform u in advance if they couldnt come so u didnt have to go to all that trouble and waste of money.

That's what happen to me she rsvp I paid for her mother sister and her plate where I had my shower at and it wasn't cheap she knew that also so I was truly hurt I confronted her told her it's not like I'll have a baby shower again but her going looking at wedding dresses were more important when she still not even married that was 3 years ago....

He just called me and I was bawling about it and he started making excuses like "they must've forgot about it" and I'm like no I text them 30 minutes into the party and asked them if they were still planning on coming and then I called him out for making excuses for them. @Kay80 It really is an eye opening experience. I wish my boyfriend would realize how hurt I am by it and open his damn eyes to see they're not true friends. @princesswasiq

Yeah I felt sad too. Just because of all the hard work I put into it. But it will be okay. time will heal the hurt and you will be happier knowing who is really there for you and who's not. @kate_magalina
