6 days p.p. and I'm bottle feeding. my boobs are so swollen and hurt if I pump to relieve the pressure, how long or how much do I pump and will it hurt or feel relieving??

Yea, my boobs hurt sooooo bad when my milk first came in. It's been 5 weeks now and my nipples still are sore. I recommend taking Tylenol 30 minutes before pumping to ease the pain :)

@btener014, Yeah I Want to dry them up. I heard cabbage leaves too. I might have to pick some up tomorrow and give it a try. pumping helped a little but now my nipples are sore Lol!

Use a warm rag & rub your boobs b4 u pump that should help a lot & don't forget nipple cream after each feeding/ pumping

@mmora, I only got some out of My right breast, none from my left. well one boob feels a little better. I guess I'll try again in a couple hours

I have found that pumping for a minute relieves the pressure petty quickly :) and ya try using your hand if the pump hurts too bad

try to express milk out instead of using pump.

just let enough out to give you comfort but don't empty ur boobs cuz they will just keep filling up. and wear tight sports bras is gunna hurt for a little while unfortunately :(
