@rykerp15 Yea it's sickening, I bet the parents are wearing their seat belts properly! In Florida a new law passed they need to be rear facing until 2years

@camillesmom, actually the fla law on child in car seats is that child under 6 have to be in a car seat or booster seat and a child can be transferred to a toward facing car seat when the height and weight are exceeded on a rear facing car seat

I new about the car seat until 6, but it is also 2 years for rear facing, it is safer for the child to be taller and 2 rear facing @wyattsmommy91 that is also what my pediatrician said

@2jazzy4u, is common sense your kids seat should be snug and not hanging off them and the chest belt isn't going to do anything if it isn't at there chest

@juliagail09 I got Camille one that can be forward and rear facing so she doesn't need to get a new one until she is 65 pounds, she is currently rear facing I'll post a pic of it for you

that's kinda like the one i wanna get for henlei when she outgrows her other one. but i plan on having her rear facing for a while.

here is the law effective Jan 1st 2015

and this one says if the child exceeds the rear facing weight and height u can move them to a front facing one

it is recommended not the law just saying

"broken legs - cast it ; broken back - casket." I think a few of those who don't use car seat safety need to hear that a few times!
