went for anatomy scan recently and baby is measuring big for his age. I'm 27 and 2 days and his body is measuring a week ahead and his head is measuring 4 weeks ahead. Has this happened to anyone before im so nervous as this is my first baby. He also weighs 2 pounds and 14 oz already. When I came out pregnant I was already on the plus size but have been trying to maintain my weight

I'm plus size and they say my baby is at the right measurements. it has nothing to do with your weight. it's just how your baby is growing. you need to ask the doctor what you can do and if it's somthing you should worry about.

They took my daughter early told me she would b a large baby at least 9lbs. Had me scared!! 4 days early n she was 7lbs. So they are just guessing by measuring nothing is ever sure. I know the feeling something might b wrong is tough. Hope you feel better about it soon.

@kimmygarrett85, Thanks I will, they where worried I had gestational diabetes. so they checked me I failed the one hr so I went for the 3hr and passed the first part failed one and passed all the rest and when they check my sugar there its always fine. So they sent me again waiting for the results of this one fingers crossed everything is fine. I blamed the big head on my husband or little brother cause they both had one as babies lol.

@jessicatalley, thanks means a lot and I know what you mean I heard that happening to some ladies I know that there babies were "supposedly" going to be born big and they where smaller then expected.
