Depends on the place. Most of the day cares in my town are actually considered early learner places and your child is required to be in there from 8am-2pm Monday through Friday. Other are in home day cares which from what I've heard are $40-$50 per day and do require a minimum of days per week by it's more like 2-3 days an don't have to be full dad but you pay for a full day even if you only need an hour of care. But that's just in my town.
That price varies by location and if it's private , how old the child is etc you have to call around I know for me in Cali I'm looking at between $600-1200 a month child care for a full day for a newborn because I plan to go back to work when she 2 months and her dad works in and out of town. I hope to find a child care provider that will work with our schedule because sometimes he has no work for a month so I need a place that I can take her out when he is off but a lot of places don't like to do that. You get better prices with private if they have only a few kids they will maybe work with your budget but a big business is going to want top dollar

Oh am sorry. Him. I don't believe most places have a minimum age. I lived in Florida too and i know my friends had them in there at 3 months
