Just got the call for our first appointment! It will be Friday at 2 PM and we will get to see the baby!! Both me and my fiancé are super happy. But I'm very nervous now. Last time I had an inside ultrasound it sent me into serious pains and the hospital gave me a shot since I was already miscarrying. I don't want to go through that pain again. Did anyone else have pain during an inside ultrasound? I'll be 5 weeks and 5 days by my calculations and assume I'll have an inside ultrasound but I'm not sure??

yes I got a vaginal ultrasound at 8 weeks, they do that bc baby is too small to see on a norlam ultrasound

I did because I had a intern do mine and it took her a half an hour it felt like she was mashing my insides and I had spotting the next day or two it was awful

I'm so nervous and scared now because it was the worst pain I ever felt and it didn't start until after the ultrasound. And the hospital was concerned because they didn't want to cause stress on the baby by me being in pain but didn't have results back to see if I for sure miscarried. I had to wait 30 minutes before getting medication and I couldn't handle it, I was screaming and crying. I don't want to go through it again 😔

mine did hurt at all!!! I mean it was uncomfortable but that's it. @decemberbaby @steph11

@18andpregnant, mine was not done correctly. at all. it shouldn't hurt just uncomfortable and weird pressue

Mine was terrible and I don't know if it was because I was miscarrying or what but it was excruciating!! Hopefully things go okay Friday, all my friends and family said this doctor is AMAZING and really caring so hopefully he understands when I tell him about last time. Maybe she did it wrong and that's why it hurt? I have no idea how it's suppose to be done so I guess I'll see!!! Thanks for your replies guys!. @18andpregnant @steph11
