So After Being Very Proud Of Myself For Not Having Any Yet (30Wks) , Yesterday I Got My First Mummy Stripe (Stretch Mark)!! I'm A Bit Upset About It Because I Was Trying So Hard Not To Get Any, Which Involved Bio Oil 2x A Day And Shea Butter 1x A Day BUT I'm A Little Happy Too!

I'm covered in them even though I have a cream and oil routine, apparently it doesn't matter if you do. it's in your genes 😫 but don't worry too much as they will fade away in time 😃 x

@lauralou1991, I was doing so well! I know what my skins is like because I have stretch marks between my thighs and on my boobs from a teenage growth spurt so I was determined lol! I've had no new ones until this little buggar crept up on me lol ☺️

@babypuddick, I know how you feel I had some on my hips from teenage years lol. Then around 20 weeks I had the tiniest one pop up next to my belly button and that was it...They just haven't stopped coming!! they have even appeared in my pubic area 😭 x

In my last pregnancy I bought EVERYTHING on the market to help avoid stretch marks and still got them! It's genetic; if you're going to get them there is bugger all you can do unfortunately. Im not stressing about it this time round; I just slap on a bit of coconut oil when it gets itchy x
