My son gets his first full set of shots tomorrow, and I seriously cant sleep. Im scared for him. My little man is a serious screamer, and I know once they hold him down, he will become an opera singer :/

its tough for sure. i didnt like it one bit. i had never heard my baby scream/cry like that before. i gotta do it again in like two weeks. just have some tylonel and a bottle or breast ready for right after. good luck.

Ask if u can nurse him while he gets them it's proven to help them cope w pain my doc said I could

@juliagail09, was it easy afterwards? i told hubby i dont care if it messes with his sleep schedule, if he wants to be held all day, he will be held all day haha
@regelbaby ill ask, but i feel like my pedi will have some other baby in there before i can even pick him up from the shots :/ They only have one room for the babies at my ped office

I've always been told and have given Tylenol before the appointment or if you talk to the doctor sometimes they will give a dose before the appointment. When they get them it's more the shock than anything that upsets them. The area is sore in their little legs and then just want lots of love and cuddles with mommy and sleep.

yeah she was a little bit fussy for the next couple she wanted momma alot. lol but shes always like that.
