Ash is a green base color. Ex. ash blonde Cool brown prob had blue in it. Which isn't bad but won't take out as much red as a ash. Did it change ur hair any?
when I had my hair red my options where to bleach it or go dark, the bleaching turned it pink after 2 times of bleach I was too scared to continue so I went dark.. I was also told to get a color stripper/color corrector.
I just went through the process of getting mine red back to blonde again. I strip it twice (waiting a few days in between) then bleach it once then wait a few days and then tone it. that seems to work the best to get all the brass color out. good luck! every time I get mine back ro blonde I say Im not going to dye it red again but that never lasts! haha
I would def not bleach it. I would highlight it to blonde. As a stylist that is the safest way to go to blonde after dark but I would def get it professionally done. I went from blonde to dark to blonde in school and had to cut about 8 inches of my hair off all together getting back to my blonde blonde hair again. Just my advice 😄 and get it done professionally

It made the red not so intense but it's still red for sure @jessicatalley

May take a few times if it was really really red. Only other thing I could say is maybe go darker. ( I've done hair for 12 yrs lol)
