ugh. this is baby tmi so if you don't want to hear about baby poo then scroll on down!

I breast fed my daughter for 2 months. had to stop due to some supply and demand issues I was having and lucy wasn't gaining weight properly. gave her gerber good start for supplementing and it was great. had no problems. then I got on wic and they don't cover that specific kind. so we put her on gerber good start gentle. she would wake up multiple times at night, she was fussy, and would spit up a lot more. so I switched her to gerber good start soothe (the only other kind wic would cover) and she sleeps great at night! she's not as fussy and hardly ever spots up. but her poop is hard as a rock. in the past 2 weeks that she's been on this kind she's only pooped 3-5 times times. once was a good poo, the others were hard. she tried going daily, will stain and cry but nothing comes out. she barely eats solids and when she does she only eats prunes, peas, and oatmeal. I even tried juices and that doesn't make it and smoother for her. so I called the doctors, explained she's like this because she needs a different formula but we need a prescription written for it so wic will cover it. she's only been like this since starting the new formula. they said I need to bring her in to get her evaluated. I'm a bit angry. I know why it's so hard for her to go. she shows no signs of discomfort unless she's trying to go #2. I swear if this doctor tries sticking anything up my child's booty I'm going to be ticked. like at least let us try the formula she was on before THAT WORKED PERFECTLY FOR HER, before you try any of that stuff because I'm about 99% sure that's the only reason why it's so hard for her to go.
