I see all of these women finding out the sex of their baby around 16 weeks. So why is my doctor making me wait until 20…

I waited until 19 weeks for the clearest pictures. I was told the earlier the less accurate the results would be.

Bc alot of times it's more accurate to wsit. I had a friend and was told your having a boy at 151/2 weeks and then came the 20 weeks She's having girl! and they went and bought all boy things. yes it a long wait but it's worth it. but let me tell you this last week takes FOREVER LOL seems like I have been 38 39 weeks pregnant forever

haha I'm just too excited. I just found out I'm a week more ahead, so it makes me want to find out sooner!

I found out at 20 weeks with my first through an ultrasound and 12 weeks with my second through a blood test. the Dr usually makes you wait until week 19/20, so the gender is clear and you don't get told the wrong sex.

I found out at 16 weeks because I paid outside my Dr to find out. but my Dr made me wait until I was 20 weeks.

found out at 13 weeks with my first, 21 weeks with my second.

I don't get random ultrasounds so I have to wait till my growth scans. maybe that's why your dr is making you wait lol

Mine tried to make me wait. But I see a high risk specialist so I was able to schedule sooner since they have to an ultrasound next I asked can we find out the gender. It seems like until you find out the pregnancy goes soooooo slow

They made me wait until 21 weeks to find out 😩😩😩😩😩 tho I did bloodwork at 10 weeks so I knew gender, just needed to confirm
