Getting my membranes swept today, anyone start contracting after that??

I did I went into early labor the same day and that lasted for 3 days then I had my baby.

did you have to ask or is it a routine thing? @meganc

sure did. went to hospital and was admitted the same day.

I did this week had contractions went to the hospital and everything just stopped! I get contractions every night till about the morning and then everything stops. I'm in what they call prodromal labor....which could last a long time. good luck to you I hope it puts you in labor

@courtney_boyea, @firstbaby_girl @lilmomma817 @jackee856 @prettyyellow last week at my appointment I thought he was going to check me to see if I've dilated then he said no and next week he would sweep my membranes which is today. I am really hoping it starts something because with me being 38 weeks and my baby is already measuring 8 pounds and I've been shot before and had stomach surgery his weight is killer and very painful lately.

oh man. you should definitely tell him that. I hear you on the pain side of things.

@courtney_boyea, yeah these babies can get horribly huge before making an entrance and it's amazing what we can handle
