Since my babys dads on the lease I can't kick him out... Moving out and not coming back. Hopefully he doesn't get us evicted I don't want that on my credit but my daughters safety comes first.

You should just be able to tell your landlord you're moving out, but he's staying and explain why you are moving. That's what my landlord said if anything like that happens to me

They have to let you out the lease but your bf has to sign something as well to take over if he don't qualify to stay alone then they will kick him out and it won't be on you. You have a legal right to remove yourself from the lease esp if there's a domestic issue if you reported that makes it more easier

Okay and it won't go on as an eviction? Ill go talk to them tomorrow. Its only 2 more months here but its 2 months to long. @ginag918

No if you can get removed from the lease it won't be an eviction on you if he stays and does not pay or if they say he doesn't qualify then they will evict him not you. With only two months left they should def let you off the lease if you explain your situation. There shouldn't be any penalty since your not really breaking the lease just modifying it
