@californiahaley, we have an appointment in the morning, idk if you saw my earlier post but we had to call 911 because she choked so bad she quit breathing.. she's on Zantac twice a day for her reflux but it's completely out of control.. I just don't understand

I didn't see. I'm so sorry that so scary. Do they know for sure it's reflux and not a milk allergy. Cause that doesn't sound like reflux to me. Tannon had reflux but never like that and never had to be medicated

@californiahaley, They put her on the Zantac two weeks ago, and we had to switch her from the supplement Similac formula to the Similac lactose kind.. she was doing better and then my wic office made us switch to Gerber soothe and she was doing okay and then about 2 days ago we noticed she was getting bad again and then itit all went down from there and now it's just terrible, I'm afraid to sleep at this point

That's rough! Maybe a soy formula would be better? My mil bfs daughters baby had to be out on soy formula I think it's priceyer but he's doing so well now.

you are probably already doing this but keep her propped up for 30 minutes after she eats. some babies esophageal valve just takes awhile to mature so it can cause reflux. hopefully they will figure out what works best for her. I know that's scary.

@junebaby, We do.. the poor thing isn't flat at all anymore, she's always propped up in her boppy or us or a pillow.. :/ and @alicia3_18 Thank you, it will get better. it's just going to take time
