I'm almost 32 weeks and just now starting to get over a cold I had. And now when I cough up mucus it has some blood in it. Kinda freaks me out. Anyone know if this is normal?

yeah when it happened to me it was a lot so I deff freaked but it cleared up pretty quick. I hope u get better sick and pregnancy don't mix

@whattsmommy91, I think that's what it is. I'm on antibiotics for a cold and ear infection I've had. And I've been coughing some so I'm thinking it's probably from there. I'll watch and see if it gets worse. It wasn't a lot. Just freaked me out.

I had that happen when I was pregnant I called the nurse at my Dr office and she told me I probably coughed to hard and popped a blood vessel if it gets worse or the blood doesn't go away to go.to the er so if u can just contact the nurse at ur obgyn and ask them about it if u don't wanna sit at a hospital
