ladies who lost their plug how far along where you and how long afterwards did you go into labor?? I'm 37 weeks today and just lost the plug like an hour ago.I had a son 7 years ago but this is kinda new to me because its been so long and I'm learning new things(never knew about the plug) I had got induced with my first pregnancy

yes but everyone is different. it was two weeks with three of mine and with my oldest I didn't lose it before. now bloody show occurred just a couple days before.

@junebaby, yeah my husband,best friend n my daughters godmother said within 2 weeks cause at my drs appointment when she checked me I was 2 cm dilated and 50 percent effaced(however u spell it)

Yes but my whole pregnancy was very spot on. I gave birth exactly 40 weeks to the day from my last period. I lost my mucus plug the day before I gave birth. I was in the early stages of labor. You lose your plug as you dilate.

I lost mine the morning of valentines day, my water broke at 3:44 am on the 15th and my son was born at 1:05pm.

i was in labor when i lost my plug, i was pushing 3 hours after haha
