So baby boy has a small piece of umbelican cord left inside his belly button should I continue sponge baths until it falls out or is he ok to get a regular bath now?

I'd say he's fine! my nurse told me I can give full baths right when I brought her home and she still had her cord.

Idk I personally would wait because under that is not dried out yet and my midwife had told me it could get infected. I would personally wait until all of it comes out and it looks like a dry belly button on the inside. Up to you though! You know what's best for your baby. 😊
