So my bf is a great daddy but I've noticed his movements when he's holding the baby are too fast. When he picks him up, rocks him, etc he isn't cautious or as gentle as he should be. He isn't hurting the baby but I feel like it's just too much for such a little one. I told him to slow it down and just be a little more gentle and now he's so mad at me cause I said it in front of his dad and they all kind of ganged up on him and agreed with me. If I were him I'd be a little irritated too but I've told him a million times to slow it down so it kinda just slipped out tonight :/ I don't want him to be mad I just want him to be gentle!!

My husband is the same way he practically throws the baby when passing him off to another person it scares me I know he's trying his best but ya gotta be careful when they're so little

I think it comes more naturally to women whereas men have to learn how to care for a baby

@Palmerwifey, I think so too and Idk how to tell him without making him upset :( He takes it like I'm saying he's not good with the baby or something. He's great he just needs to be gentle!

That's a sensitive subject for guys idk why lol does he know about shaken baby syndrome? Maybe reading up on some info will help him be more careful
