It took a week for me to get approved for Medicaid and about an hour for WIC. & it is very difficult with him in prison but I think he's finally realizing that his daughter and I should come first! He says he doesn't want to drink, start smoking cigarettes again or go out anymore... Fingers crossed he actually means it!

@kate_magalina, it's been 2 weeks since I applied for Medicaid and they said wait 2 more weeks :( I haven't applied for WIC yet but I need to do that Tom. Do I just do it online? I pray he changes for u! When a baby is in the pic, things change! He needs to think abt his baby b4 himself! And it's ok! I'm used to all this commotion :/

My Medicaid told me if I don't hear back in 2-3 weeks to call. & WIC I had to call and make an appointment but they also told me they have someone there that can approve you for Medicaid that day. Maybe when you call you can ask about that too
