So at the dr appointment today, they told me I have a high risk for preeclampsia. And now I'm super stressed out. Harper is ok and doing great so far. They said that she is a little small, but since I'm type 1 diabetic that will probably change soon. I'm just so stressed about the preeclampsia. I want my baby to be ok.

I don't know. All he said was that I'm high risk for it because I'm diabetic and my mom had it with my sister and I, and since my stress has been off the charts I am more prone to it. Basically it's like they baby can come early and have lots of complications and might now make it.

I had preeclamsia twice and was put on bed rest once out of the 2 times and to be honest, its not as bad as you think as long as you do exactly what your doctor instructs you to do until delivery. I had my oldest daughter at 36 weeks and she was 4 pounds, and with my twins they were born at 33 weeks and were 3 pounds each. Every body is different but once you're diagnosed with preeclamsia or high risk stats, you're most likely to be on bed rest and possibly have to be induced because of the high blood pressure. I was induced both times and everything went quick and smoothly. My babies were fine and I continued a normal life style once my babies were out of me. So just keep your head up and be sure to keep up with your appointments and do exactly as you're told. If it results in bed rest kist know it's for the best to keep your baby cooking as long as possible and to assure that your body isn't doing more than it needs to when dealing with a high risk pregnancy. I wish you the best of luck @amillar23

Thank you @mommy3. Definitely makes me calmer having more information!
