I usually don't whine ...BUT i can't sleep, gotta get this off my mind....I think there is so much on my mind....I'm worried & scared. This diabetes thing has messed up my feet I've been suffering with it for a while now. Got nerve pain in both feet and infection 😥 I want to go for Pedi so bad but can't while infection still lasts. 😖 and messed up part 2 different docs couldn't tell me jay shizz, now I'm gonna go see podiatrist. In the mean time I read more about it and it terrifies me now I don't know if this nerve pain will ever go away. Stupid docs I told them and showed them my feet and the situation and neither even asked do u have GD? Until I mentioned and said could this be related to it? And they couldn't even answer. This why I don't have trust in doctors and frankly hate them on a note. They always disappoint me and clearly know not much better than I do. 😏😏😏 well u know. Smh! I'm worried. I can't wait until this is over. To have my baby. Oh and worst is I'm scared of Csec 😨 if it will come to that

I was born with type one diabetes, and I want you to know that with having diabetes (of any kind) makes infections take a little while longer to go away. Most of the time you will need a very strong antibiotic to clear it out. As far as nerve damage goes... I have it in my hands. Once they get you on a steady medication that works for you, all will be a lot better, I promise. It just takes a little time is all

@martinajjones, oh did u have it from birth?? Yes I heard that it takes so long cause apparently they're pretty much the same thing even tho Gestational can only be temporary. 😏 my husband has diabetes as well. But they didn't give me any meds just told me to diet properly and monitor my sugar levels. And I pray to God that I won't need any cause this will be just while still pregnant. 😓 thank you for your advice and warm words 💗

Don't mention it girl. The baby could also be positioned weird and that could cause "temporary" nerve damage. even though I'm only 19 weeks, my baby sits on a nerve and makes my hands go numb and tingley from time to Time. So I'm praying all is well with you and its nothing serious love <3

@martinajjones, aw thanks girl 😘 ahh yes that could be too, altho I had this nerve pain constantly since 2mo ago. But again it puts my mind at ease a bit to know that it's just temporary, I pray.
