This is the second time I've tried to pump while Gabe nurses and it does not work for me. If he's not eating I can get a good 4 1/2 ounces If he is I can barely get 2.

Do you pump during the day right when he finishes, go to that website workandpumo.com and read through it helps and talks about how to get more milk just keep pumping even if nothing comes out

@jellybeansmommie, @mrs.oliva yep keep pumping your body will then start producing more but it takes two days to build it up

@mrssabby, I do pump I get 2oz each boob only but when I nurse with shield it comes out a lot. so should I nurse and pump other boob at same time?

@mrs.oliva, I don't pump at the same time but I feed her then burp her then pump each Breast for 10 mins after , also during the days before I go to work I feed her when she's hungry but I pump every 4 hrs, and If she's cluster feeding I don't pump unless I'm going to work I just let her feed, because you don't want so much milk that you can't constantly Empty and then get engorged
