You aren't suppose to since the infection is much more harmful now, but to each their own.

got my nose pierced at about 10 weeks pregnant. the lady said my body will probably reject it.....and that's exactly what it did. it got infected and pushed out

Good tattoo shops will not pierce and or tattoo pregnant or breast feeding women. it's to much of a risk for infection or bacteria and can hurt the baby
