views on water births? Anyone had one or going to? Need some advice as that's what I wanna do for x

I want one too. I planned on having one with my 2nd child, but as she was prem, I couldn't have one....So I'm really aiming to have one this time, apparently it's meant to be very good at dealing with the pain. 🙌🙌

I hope i can have one too..i hate the idea of having to lay on my back while pushing...and i want it to be as natural/free as possible xx

I wanna have a drug free birth (my first child) to prove to myself I can do it :) same here, I don't like the idea of laying back and pushing :/ wanna be able to move around get comfortable and do it how I wanna do it rather than my legs up haha 😂 xx

I was totally against it, hated the idea of being in a pool with everyone gawping down at me and then if "that thing" that were all secretly dreading (u know what I'm talking about!) happens while ur in a pool there's no hiding it! but after speaking to my new midwife I'm planing on being in the pool for the labour but coming out for the birth. X

im hoping for a pool too. i think it wud be more relaxing xx

I get what you mean, at the end of the day I think your just got to do what's best for yourself so your not stressed or drained :)

my partner said that to me and I told him if I poo poo any because I'm giving birth to our child so.. don't bother me in the slightest :)

I'm planning on a water birth, it's meant to ease the pain a lot which is only why I'm planning one. I am so scared of labour it's unreal.. But I think it's real intimate with you and your child as you get to pull him/her out yourself! 💗💙 @denisej96

Yeah that's what I'm looking forward to the most! being able to pull bubba out of the water and go into skin to skin without any rushing around.. as well as they don't cut the chord straight away so baby gets more goodness before hand :) xxx
