Oh my gosh. Why did I ever think of giving up breastfeeding? Yes, there were times where I cried because it hurt so bad but I told myself that it's what's best for my baby and I kept going. Now the pain has subsided and I feel proud. If you have trouble and want to give up, DONT. It goes get better! Take Motrin and cuss away the pain if you need to lol it's worth every tear. Remember, breast is best (if you're able)

I feel bad about quitting breastfeeding /: it hurt so bad, and I had been through enough pain during my pregnancy. Selfish, I know. It made my neck/back(where I had a previous injury) hurt so bad, though. I'll probably try again with my next baby though

There's nothing wrong with it! If it's that unbearable, I don't think it's selfish. You have to take cRe of yourself to take care of your baby (: @laura_love

i rubbed breast milk-on the other nipple wen it became sore n used a hot towel for engorgement. i breast fed off the other til it healed, after the 4th day i was ok i just breathe b4 he latches on lol

@mrsgorgeous890915, yea one of my nipples was so damaged I couldn't nurse from it so I've been trying to heal it for a few days and now it's supply went down A LOT. I'm pumping now to get supply back up lol it's a vicious cycle

when mines was sore n i breast fed 4rm the other i can feel thr milk coming in so i still massaged that breast so the milk supply wont come in slow...a sore nipple is frustrating oh my gosh lol, both of mines was sore the 1st 2days i gav him enfamil the 3rd day...nipples heal quick tho @btener014
