I had it for 3 years. At first it was a little cramping and I had bleeding off and on. Then my period stopped all together. It wasn't bad at all and I actually forgot that it was there most days. One thing they don't tell you, is that if you decide to conceive, it could take a while for the hormones to get through your body. It took me a year to get pregnant after the IUD

This happened to my sisters it's why she had it removed.

my cramps lasted about two or three weeks along with bleeding. the doctor explained it was my lining thinning out all the way. I was fine after a month though but everyone is different.

i got my iud at the beginning of February 😞 its been crappy the whole time. i keep hoping it will get better 😳 @junebaby

omg!! I have it too & I literally just stopped bleeding 2 weeks ago and I got it in the beginning of January. I hate it!! I want it out NOW but I know I will get pregnant if I take it out so it's gonna stay in... ugh

I was 2 minutes from taking mine out myself (I guess you can..?) and then I didnt.. and I really wanna say like the next day I stopped bleeding and I don't have any cramping or spotting or anything..

But If it starts up again.. bet your ass I will be getting it removed.

I feel like I turned into a lazy bitch on it though too.... idk if its just me and post partum bs..or the hormones from the mirena..
