I think Alaura has jaundice :/

Yeah and they said she had a small touch but nothing to worry about, but her skins turned that odd yellow color real bad now and so have the whites of her eyes @mrs.oliva

put her near the window tomorrow for awhile. if it's sunny

@junebaby, We are going to get out and go walk for a while and see if that helps, I'm going to try and get her in to her doctor tomorrow. we have to make an appointment anyways

my baby is yellow also. but supposably some babies that have jaundice and are drinking breast milk get yellow because of breast milk it goes away but takes a Lil time... I've put my son by the window and have took him in the son and it hasnt helped. I took him for 2 weeks check up and he's perfect

@mrs.oliva, Alaura is getting breast milk too, I bet that's it! I'm still trying to get use to all this newborn stuff

if your nursing has you'd doctor told you to give your daughter vitamin d drops? because it's not in our milk

definitely ask your doc about vitamin d supplement because it's not in breast milk and they need it

you could also put her under a light for about 15 min 3 times a day that's what they told me since my baby came back with it a little high and they told me to get him checked after 2 days with his pedi.and he came out good I was scared as well.

Rylan has a little jaundice I'm going in today for his dr appointment to make sure he's good to go. I heard lots of babies are born with jaundice :)
