Yeah they put it in deep lol. getting mine didn't hurt. it was when they left it in for 2 days that it fucking hurt!! every time I wanted to get up or needed to put pressure on my hand it felt like it was gonna break the needle in half.cuz it was in for way too long. I had to ask.for an entire day before they finally took it out
