ladies.... I want to stay with my boyfriend but I honestly have no feelings for him at all and we've been together since October 2011. he works to support us, but he doesn't play the "dad" card. doesn't spend time with our daughter or change diapers, etc. I don't know what to do.. I want things to work for the sake of our kids (due with #2 in june), and we just got approved for our own place together (we've been living with my mom and she told us we need to move) so now I'm really torn....
any advice?

sometimes it's not always best to stay just for the kids, sometimes it hurts them more in the long run. I think it'd be best to have a heart to heart & if you both truly want it to work for more than the kids, talk about ways you can make it work, talk about whether counseling is an option & if it's work, what both of yall need to fix & work on, & even what yall need to work on together.

@parkers_mommy, I feel like we've tried everything. we have this type of talk at least 3x a week.... he just doesn't get it :( i feel so alone and by myself in this relationship. ugh

@parkers_mommy, yep.... tried that. he wouldn't even come to visit our daughter. he said he didn't want to see her if he can't have me.

@emilyyy96___, wow :( im so sorry. I say follow your heart, idk if you're a big religious person but maybe pray or something & you'll eventually find the right answer.

@parkers_mommy, thank you. I just feel guilty cause he does work to support us but he's not here for us and doesn't help when he can.
