hey everyone. First post. So I was having bleeding and what I thought was cramping simultaneously. Turns out bleeding was just from cervix but I have a large (between orange and grapefruit sized) corpus Luteum cyst. They said they do not want to operate unless absolutely necessary. It has been really painful at times, which comes and goes. They said it could rupture or twist which shouldn't cause any harm to baby, still makes me nervous though. I'm 11 weeks and wondering if anyone else has experience with this??

I had a 20 cm cyst when I was pregnant with my first baby. It never really caused me any pain and it never twisted or ruptured. I had a c-section delivery to also have the cyst removed. I had the option to deliver naturally then go back and have it removed, but it would've been an open surgery anyway from the cyst being so big.

@lucy8185, i had the exact same thing, i was crying bcuz of the pain. i went to the er they gave me pain meds, they ddnt work so 2 days past n finally went to my doc n he said my big cyst was pushing my organs up fast n my smaller one was twisting my ovary so i had surgery the next day i was 12 weeks, i couldnt wait till 15 weeks. n my baby is fine im now 16 weeks.

I was at the ER last night they said I had what looked to be a cyst but could be a second baby. my sister unlawful had ovarian cysts and she said they hurt when they rupture. scares the shit out of me.

the dr at the hospital said if it is a cyst it will go away on its own.
