So on monday is my check up. I'm going to ask my doc if I can start using tampons again. We're any c section moms able to use tampons before the 6 week mark?

I wasn't allowed to use them until I went to my 6 week check up. It isn't safe to use them just yet.

I wondered the same thing... I think we're not supposed to use them to prevent infection, but I'm not sure. That's just what I read online.

But I feel like since we got a c section our cervix wasn't opened up. Nothing down there was opened so why wouldn't we be able to ya no @jamie_renea03

Yeah, it would be so much easier. I think I'll call my doctor and ask lol I'm curious. Really the only time I even bleed now is after I pump and I'm only 1 week postpartum....not sure if that's normal 😕

Lucky! I'll bleed light, then a little heavy then light. Non the less I'm always bleeding. 9 days pp. @jamie_renea03

With my first baby, I remember bleeding non stop for 2 to 3 weeks...this time I didn't try breastfeeding at first because baby was in the NICU, but now I'm trying and I'll feel that disgusting feeling as soon as I stand up lol I'm sure I could go all day without bleeding if I don't pump...
