Gabe is still awake at least he's in his swing chilling, and not screaming his lungs out. Hopefully he stays that way maybe I can get him to start soothing himself a little. I want him to start to get in a schedule. maybe it's to early he's only 3 weeks

I personally think it might be too early. my daughter has her nights and days confused. all I can seem to do is try and keep her awake a good amount of hours before bed time. but she's 7wks almost 8 and isn't really on a schedule. my daughter is super colic so nights are stressful. but I'm thinking once she's around 3 months it will be easier to get her started on a schedule. maybe the same for Gabe? Ino it's frustrating but babies this young will make their own schedule... in my mindv at least lol

@mdomke22 I think I'm expecting too much of him. but its so frustrating hearing him cry all the time especially as night. he doesn't really cry much during the day.

you just kinda have to wait. my daughter is 2 months old and is just now getting herself on her own sort of schedule which involves sleeping from about 1130 to 530 or 6. which I can handle. but if you try to keep your baby up before bed be careful because if they get too overly exhausted its harder for them to fall asleep. which makes absolutely no sense to me

My son is 2 months and just in the last little while has he had anything like a schedule! I usually now try to give him a bath and nurse him after around 10-11 because that's when I go to sleep. He sleeps from about 12 until 5-6 sometimes 7!!!

keep trying with a schedule it won't stick now but the more you work on it the sooner it will happen my daughter was on a pretty good schedule by 6 weeks and sleeping through the night always stay flexible though! good luck!! 😊
