How Long Does It Take for a Diaper Rash to Clear Up?

I found what worked best for my son, he got a diaper rash when he was first born. Baby powder cleared it up within a day. The creams just made it worse is what it seemed like

take him a cool bath and lay him diaper less for a lil bit sometimes their lil booties just need a lil air

Yes baby powder the creams keep it moist which causes the rash, powder helps keep your baby dry

when my son kept getting a really bad rash from the acids/virus coming out, my mil kept him without a diaper to air dry, it worked. try Aloe

So I washed him up just now blow dried his creases (cool low air) and put baby powder all over them. He had a rash in his armpits and the penaten didn't seem to be working so ya I used bb powder an ther much better today so hopefully it will clear up his diaper rash too poor guy. @firefly and same thing u did @kelseys I let him sit without a diaper for a while. But I can't leave him w out one he already pisses all over the place when I change him hahah

lol, wherever my son sat we put towels under him.

and to top it my son had diarrhea. we just used plastic and towels everywhere he was.

That's a good idea lol! My son got circumsized last week and I still have to put gauze covered in Vaseline on it so it's hard to keep the surrounding area dry when every time I change his diaper he's all greasy from the Vaseline. It's hard
