So the shit midwife saga continues. She arranged to come to my house for my next appointment because I complained at my last app and she's just cancelled. Called the surgery to tell them I want to see a different midwife and they told me she's the only one. Called a surgery by my house and they told me it's a bit too late to change surgery at this stage in my pregnancy (27 wks) I'm currently hiding in my office because I'm so annoyed that's if I see anyone I'll just burst in to tears!! She was supposed to arrange physio for me 5 wks ago coz I'm in agony with SPD and she just keeps telling me she's still "trying to refer me!" She never calls me back when I leave her messages my last appointment I had to wait nearly 2 hrs coz she was running late then told me she had a parents evening so rushed through my appointment. Soo rubbish how do I change!!??

you should be able to refer yaself to another hospital. Not sure how it works in brum, but in my area in london. I can refer myself to any hospital at any stage of my pregnancy. I think you'd be wise too. Good luck hun x

Thanks! I managed to speak to her boss who is coming to see me at home and she's already sorted me a physio appointment for this week so fingers crossed I can just have her from now on and things might get done!! X

ditto to the above comment...so ppl take their job to seriously and forget it is actually about the patient not them. I'm glad u got management involved, sometimes that's the only way. x

report her! she shouldn't be doing that and you can change doctors at any point xx
