How long did most of y'all new mommies bleed after giving birth? I'm 1wk 3days PP & its basically…

I didn't stop bleeding until I was 3 weeks pp & Then I got the arm implant & bled for another 4 weeks. Its finally over, thank god.

mine comes and goes but it completely stopped at 3 weeks

now, as for the Nexplanon.... when did yall get the implant? im not breastfeeding but I do pump and the brochure says to wait about four weeks but I have a seriously impatient boyfriend who wants me to get it as soon as possible. and then, how long does it take to actually start working? I've only ever been on the pill.... @iloveyou @soontobemommy

They said wait 10 days to use it as birth control, I got it at my 6 week check up. I formula feed but my sister breast fed and she fed her baby like normal when she got hers. @linksmommy

I planned on getting it at my 6wk checkup also but somebody is super impatient and wants me to get it now. I'm not all too concerned about the breastfeeding part since, like I said, I pump but my little man also gets formula so we're all set in that department. Did you have any issues or long term bleeding when you first got it? I wanna be prepared because this whole not being able to wear tampons is driving me bonkers and I rather not be uncomfortable for another couple weeks wearing pads. @soontobemommy

Girl my when I left my 6 week appointment i used tampons. And condoms! That's what we did. And I got it on a Thursday while on my period and then it stopped or a week and then Friday I started bleeding but it is sooooo light. @linksmommy

Yeah when I got checked up at my 6 week appointment I was allowed to use tampons again & the bleeding from the implant lasted me a whole month. it may be different for others.
