I brought my son to get his hair cut and this six year old getting his hair cut is screaming his head off saying "it hurts, it hurts". And the mom just tolerating that type of behavior, saying "you're okay baby, mommas here". Really? Cut that damn umbilical cord already, I personally would've slapped my son silly if he did that. He has never done something like that and he's only four! Unbelievable!

I have a 5yr old little brother and every time he gets his nail clipped or his hair cut he yells that it hurts. Nothin is wrong with the way my parents parent him, he is a little behind with the communication due to a medical condition he suffered at 2 months old. He gets very easily anxious and he thinks that he is going to get hurt because his hair and nails are a part of his body and he has a hard time understanding. To the outside world nobody can tell he has anythi wrong, I'm not just saying that you really can't tell. My point is, try to keep an open kind and give them the benefit of te doubt. It might not be bad parenting, there might be something wrong

girl you take him? what about his dad?? I don't take either of my older ones one obviously cause his dad has him most of the time but the other cause I never know what to tell the barber to do with his hair lol I'm like clueless!

I have a nephew that does this, only because he also has medical conditions that only get worse when you yell or are too firm with him. Sometimes you have to think about things like that

@chhaya @martinajjones I understand but this was really not the case at all, just the way I saw things I assure you it wasn't a medical condition. @january10th Girl he usually does but there were like 5 people before us and he didn't wanna wait but he needed a haircut badly so I waited instead and he watched Damian in the car, ugh lol
