no not really I am dialated but haven't lost my mucus plug or had any contractions. I think everyone is different

not every woman's water breaks at home, more than you think have to have it broken in the hospital. you can dilate without contractions, as well as have contractions without dilating. im pretty sure everyone is different with this but they say bloody show or mucus plug is a sign labor is near.

and my water hasn't broke either.

I dilated and had contractions, didn't lose a mucus plug and my water broke on its own at 6 cm.

Mine started with dilation then contractions and then mucus plug. Everyone's different! Your water may not break either!

I've had full on contractions since 30 weeks. I'm only a fingertip dilated and haven't lost mucus plug

mine started with minor contractions then my water braking .... i never lost my mucus plug or had my bloody show with none of my 3 babies

Contractions can start happening way before labor, you can also dilate a little weeks before you go into labor but I think the bloody show is the one definite sign that labor's soon, I've also heard diarrhea and nausea can be a sign.

I think it's safe to say, we've all been there! I had to move back in with my parents, sell my car, sell my motorcycle, I have no job because no one will hire a preggo. We will all get through it (: one way or another!

my labor started by water breaking no contractions once they started my contractions then I lost my mucus plug everyone's labor is different though

i started having contractions then lost my mucus plug next morning then went to the hospital and wasnt dialated so i got induced THEN they broke my water for me lol
