for those mommies who breast feed but occasionally give it in a bottle did you have any problems with your baby latching or getting too fussy on the breast after having it from a bottle? my little guy was doing great till he had a bottle lastnight because I pumped dry from being engorged. could I be doing something wrong or is it natural?

yes, its because the bottle is easy but they have to work harder to get the milk out of the breast and they get frustrated.

he will get better as he gets older but I'd stick to breast as much as you can.

as they get older it seems easier to switch back and forth.

And if ur engorged and need some relief don't pump dry just pump a little bit to relieve some of the pain or I like to just get a washcloth soaked in warm to hot water and put it on my chest and just squeeze for a little bit of relief. I would stick to the breast as much as possible for at least 6 weeks
