I'm starting to get nervous about trying to breastfeed again. I had a bad experience with my daughter 4 years ago and failed miserably. I just don't want to fail again but I also don't want my nipples to bleed and crack again either. Thinking maybe I'll just pump and bottle feed breast milk, but I don't know. 😔😔😔 just starting to worry....

@delilahsmommy2015 I've never even heard of a nipple shield...the hospital I delivered at 4 years ago did not help me at all and I left the hospital with sore bleeding nipples. I'm hoping things go smoother this time. @dovejazz I've thought hard about it...I just don't want it to hurt or get frustrated with myself. I remember I would leak more than I could pump, which made me think my daughter wasn't eating enough. @californiahaley I'm definitely stocking up on nipple cream lol I do know the hospital I'm delivering at this time seems more helpful about it, so hopefully I get it down this time.

that happened to me with my 1st born. I have successfully nursed 2 babies since. with my son I pumped when he was hungry and bottle fed until my supply evened out. then started nursing. it was easier for him to latch once they weren't so engorged
